SIN
The true definition of sin, as defined in the original translations of the Bible, means to miss the mark or target. We live in a society where the definition of sin has become blind in man-made arguements over right and wrong. We cannot be like the world, and we cannot conform to their ways of defining sin on our own terms. We are believers in Christ and must look to God's holy Word to define sin for us.(Please read the following scripture in the bible that God describe the types of sin: Galatian 5:19-21, I Timothy 1:9-10, Ephesian 5:3-7 and Romans 6:23.)
Sin is a powerful tool that seeks to influence, enclave and destroy our soul. Sin is nothing less than a spiritual disease, a universal plague upon the human race, there is know individual it has not touched. It has a power of its own and can lead a person into slavery of evil habits and ways and will bring down the judgement of a Holy God upon us. The Holy Spirit makes us aware of sin in our lives, if we will confess our sin, this will bring cleaning of forgiveness to our lives. Like a parent telling a young child not to touch something that's hot, God does not give us His laws to be mean and overbearing, but to keep up from burning ourselves
Remedy For Sin
Jesus Christ came into this world to deal with sin and in Him there is salvation for God's gudgement on our sin and victory over it power. The scripture of Isaiah 59:2, say but there is a problem-your sin have cut us off from God. Sin has separated us from God, our creation and the sin has left this world without a way back to the Creator who made us. God did not leave people in this lost condition, His plan was to rescue people from their sin by unvoluntarily coming in this world in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was created to die for every individual, so we could live our lives from sin. And the scripture of Roman 6:23, say from the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is enternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
At this moment if you are reading this, and you have sin in your life won't you pause at this time and confess it to God and recieve forgiveness.....
As a believer, the Holy Spirit makes us aware of sin in our life, if we will confess our sin, this will bring cleaning of forgiveness to our lives. As we confess our sin to our Father, bring not only the forgiveness for that sin, it also bring the believer immediate back into fellowship and right relationship with his God. In Psalm 66:18, it scripture say if I had not confessed the sin in my heart, my Lord would not have listen. The Lord is not even listening to our prayers, because sin separate us from God. Remeber, always in every prayer before God(if you are a believer) ask God to repent your sin by the blood of Jesus, from the sole of your feet to the top of your head, before you ask or request anything from our Heavenly Father. See, the effect of sin on our lives, will keep us from using and developing the gifts which God has given us....and this will cause us to miss the mark or target to not be able to reach that place of maturity which God intended for us.
